We understand that studying overseas is a significant investment for international students and their families, which is why we feel you should receive a strong, long-term return on your investment. We take our responsibility to prepare you for the international job market very seriously and support you in your ambition of finding the right job during and after your studies.

At Loughborough University, all undergraduate programmes offer an optional work placement during your studies. Our UK and International students who are offered placements, are on occasion offered employment after graduation, a huge benefit to undertaking a year in the work place. Examples of companies our students have gone on to work for include Adidas, Rolls-Royce, Google and many more. We also hold numerous careers fairs throughout the year, with our Autumn Careers Fair being one of the largest in the UK with 140 companies attending from a range of industries. We offer our students the opportunity to talk to over 300 employers per year on campus, at fairs, evening presentations and workshops with staff.

At Loughborough University, the Careers Network works to aid students find work both during their studies and after graduation. The Career Network runs 100s of events centrally and in academic departments, and provides multiple resources, alongside academic studies, to guide students into the working world and help students explore career options. For international students, our Careers Coaches, Careers Network page for international students and online tools are all available to help you to identify the key employers of international graduates in the UK and provide the support you need to successfully search and apply for a placement or graduate role in employment markets around the globe.
